Hey - I just got a PS3 keyboard (the bluetooth one).  Is there any way it can simulate L3 press on the controller, so that I can initate chat during the game without resorting to my remote?  Same about Start and Select button?  I'm afraid the answer is no, but figured it won't hurt to ask.

pretty sure if you have the official one that there is a button mapped to these...check the book that came with it.  I just use a Logitech Bluetooth one and was wondering the same thing.

I do know that if you push enter on the keyboard it will open the text entry box, but I don't know about the other ones.

That;s the one I'm using (Logitech).

And as far as the other person mentioning about chat being initialized on Enter.  Are you sure?  Because tehre's a big X on my enter, which means pressing it would give you the list of your cards.

Using a blutooth rocketfish, and I'm pretty sure pressing the enter key open the chat window too.  Though I could be wrong. I'm not a chatty person...   Just tournaments.  And there's no x on my enter key.

BTW:  You're using the new logitech, with trackpad and all???    How is it?   When I saw it, I almost had a bad taste in my mouth from buying the Rocketfish, but apart from the trackpad, I can't complaint. It does the trick very well.  But sometime, I would like to have a true PS3 blutooth keyboard, with a full row for all the buttons on the controller.

I just got it in today, and am still at work, so didn't get a chance to actually use it.  It looks very slim though, and definitely matches PS3.  As far as keys, it's only X, Triangle, Square, and O that are included.  No L1, no start, no select, and too bad, because that means I still need my remote.

mine is a Logitech, but not the PS3 one...it is a MX5000 + MX1000 mouse

they work pretty good...plus you can turn them off so they don't waste battery power (the mouse recharges though)

On my keyboard pressing enter brings up the chat dialog box, I know because I do use the chat option quite a bit.

ESCAPE= O

F1= TRIANGLE

F2=SQUARE

F3=SELECT

F4=START

F5=REFRESH WEB PAGE

CTRL+ LEFT ARROW = CHANGE TO LEFT WINDOW

CTRL+ RIGHT ARROW = CHANGE TO RIGHT WINDOW

ALT + LEFT ARROW = BACK A PAGE

ALT + RIGHT ARROW = FORWARD A PAGE

WINDOWS BUTTON = PS OR XMB BUTTON

BACSPACE CAN BE USED AS L1 TO GO BACK A PAGE

AND ENTER IS X BUT I THINK EVERYONE KNOWS THAT ONE LOL
