Sony purchased all rights from zipper.In case you did'nt know slant six games is still open.

Its up to Sony on who makes the next one.

Yes, throw the baby out completley with the bathwater. Forget The Last of Us, WatchDogs, and Assasain's Creed III.

After all the complaining the so-called "vets" did over on the SOCOM discussion section, if I were in charge I wouldn't commission a new SOCOM game either. Let's be honest. No matter what they showed, there would have still been the same old complaints. As for PS4 news, who's fault is it that you believed all the internet rumors? Even after they clearly said, in no uncertain terms, there would be NO PS4 ANNOUNCEMENT AT E3, everyone STILL thought there would be one. That's hardly Sony's fault that you WANTED to believe it, is it now?

And people wonder why the multiplayer community for a given game only lasts about 6 weeks or so...

Seriously, this is why I haven't really gotten into first person shooters since the demise of Tribes 2 10 or 12 years ago.  A few weeks after the game releases, people are starting to expect the next one.  Why?  Because people get bored of doing the same thing day in and day out.
