about the ending! (spoilers inside!)

Did anyone else feel frustrated by the ending?

If there is one thing i can not stand in hollywood and video games it is the open ending, I'm sitting here and listening to that cool song that plays during the credits trying to work out where dragon age 3 could lead us. What will Leilana's role by in it, will we play as the champion of kirkwall?

I just wish they could give us a ending that wrapped everything up and HINTED at the idea of a dragon age 3 not another "hey wait for another couple of years before you find out what this all means" ending

I wouldn't feel as frustrated if the game didn't feel like an expansion pack, (the one city setting, re-used dungeons etc)...I guess i just hoped more for this game, its not as bad as everyone is saying, in fact i liked the game as much as the first one and i felt as connected to the characters as i did in the first.

and fighting Sten was cool but i wish they made more of a big deal about it...

now to wait and see what other dlc they wll be releasing...

and calling it the RPG of the decade is a bit much, we all know once skyrim comes out people will be saying "dragon who?"

the reused dungeons killed one of my playthroughs (semi-dead abomination lying in the middle of the floor kept the quest items from appearing...). The character interactions are the best I've ever seen though. (I wish there were more of them...)

Theres a thing called DLC for these situations >.>  remmember DA:smileysurprised:?  OMG Morrigan dissapeared what the hell!? 9 months later we get Witch hunt dlc and like 7 other dlc things before that.

btw we dont fight Sten... that enemy class is called Sten(you get to fight like 10 of them). We meet Zevran, Leliana and Alistar in DA2. at least for now.

I wasn't frustrated by the ending, although I did find myself saying, "Well I guess there will be a Dragon Age III".  It reminded me a bit of the movie Golden Compass, where it's a fine stand alone story, but there feels like there could have been more at the end.

The ending was horrible. It felt like DA2's purpose was just to set up for a DA3 instead of being a standalone game like Origins was.

I already got Platinum so now I'm wondering whether or not to get a full refund from Amazon. The recycled dungeons annoyed me so much along with all of the bugs. The friendship bug with Isabela made my Hawke attack like molasses.

Leaves open DA3, perhaps continuing the story of Hawke, really I liked the ending, not every game has to end in some epic battle and completely saving the world. Besides I like to speculate where Hawke went and such rather then just being told he did this and went here.

I do expect though that more will be explained on Hawke in DA3. Mainly because of certain choices from DA2 that you made that are sort of left unanswered, like the Prince Sabastian. If you don't kill Anders he swears to come back and kill him, that could be something in DA3, either that or DLC. I don't think the story is over just yet.
