Dragon Age 2 patch?

Over on the Bioware boards.....There has been mention of an upcoming patch for our beloved PS3. Anyone who has played this game knows just had badly a patch is needed. Bioware claims that the patch has been sent to Sony for certification.

Can anyone (hello mod's) plaease tell me if this is truly the case. And if so, when can we expect to see the patch become available?

I don't get why everyone is looking for a patch. Am I just lucky or something because I haven't had anything bad happen with the game. No glitches or bugs, only have had it freeze once due to playing it for several hours in one go. So I'm curious on what issues this game has that I have yet to experience.

There are issues when you add Isabella to your party, some have issues with Hawk moving slow, there is a quest you can't finish- forgot the name and a few other problems go to the Bioware site if you want all of the problems

Update

Bioware has stated that patch 1.01 is waiting for certification from Sony, and has already been released for PC/MAC users.

Can we please get a release date for this patch?

Huh guess I'm just lucky not to run anything like those problems or anything that was over on the bioware forums. THough I can see why a patch is needed as well now.
