The newest DMC installment, also known as FAC (fans are crying) will hit the stores January 15th 2013.

If I do pick up a copy of DmC: Devil May Cry (I highly doubt this actually) then it will not be a brand new copy of this video game (that’s for sure). On one hand I want to review this video game but on the other hand I don’t want to suffer through the experience. I guess I will need to make an important decision here at some point. XD

On another note, some of the statements in this thread really put a smile on my face. Thank you.

I know. They give us a game that opens up a lot of possibilities for the sequel and then the series gets rebooted.

As I said before: My opinion of DmC has fluctuated frequently since its announcement. Right now, my opinion is slightly positive and I may buy it.
Judging from the "secret ingredient" boss fight, I can probably say I don't like what they've done with Dante's character ("**bleep** YOU **bleep** YOU **bleep** YOU")) but what's drawing me is the gameplay, which while still isn't quite the same as the last two games, still looks interesting.

The gameplay does not look polished to me. It seems flashy but simplistic, and I know I won't be able to get over the little girl guide telling me where to go, so this is a no buy for me.

I hope they don't change the fact that Dante can absorb demon souls an make them into weapons. The battle system I do like tough

Ninja Theory did say that the angelic Scythe and Demonic Hammer weren't the only Devil Arms you would recieve in the game.
