So I remember reading an interview where DMC4's producer said there was a reason why Nero looked so much like Dante. I've finished the game and might remember vaguely that they might have said something in the beginning of the game, however I can't remember what.

So basically I'm wondering, are Dante and Nero related in any way? If so, how?

Also was just wondering, when Yamoto awakens was that Vergil speaking? Sure sound like him from what I remember.

Nero is a descendant of Sparda. Now this doesn't necessarily mean that Nero is a son of Sparda as Sparda only ever had two sons. What this entails though is slightly complicated.

Yeah what Carbo said is right, we aren't entirely sure about who Nero is exactly.

As for the DT, when Nero said "from that day forth my arm changed, and a voice echoed - Power, give me more POWER"

Its my asumption that Vergil is the spirit of the DB, and that it was Vergil reacting to both the close proximity of the Yamato and Nero's emotions that fused the Yamato back together.

Anyway, this what I think Capcom is hinting at.   Hopefully in DMC5 we'll see Vergil return properly.

its very simple really..you know why nero and dante look alike..its because Sparda had an affair with another woman and that woman got pregnant and gave birth to Nero

Sparda only had two sons. Dante and Vergil, so Nero cannot be his son.

Like I said before. Sparda must have had a brother or sister. Or Capcom screwed up big TIME. Or there is a perfectly logic explanation.

I'd rather it be that Nero is a creation using the blood of Sparda as opposed to being born naturally. Only then could it make sense.
