That glitch is well known, it may have been a game unbalancer in its infancy, but not anymore

Anyways, back on topic, heres an easier way to get a colorless demon souls  (copied from another post of mine)

Colorless Demon Soul is also found (on a wooden beam) in the tower with Executioner Miralda (world 1-1 with Pure White Tendency to open access gate) Its after the closed gate on the left side when you enter 1-1 through the Nexus
