Dead Space 1 + Impossible Mode

I just got done with my first Dead Space play-trough. I very much enjoyed the experience, specially the sound. DS is one of the best sounding games out there.

I'm planning on doing my second play-trough under the Impossible mode. I wonder, is there any way in which I can carry some of my upgrades, in safe items etc with me? I've read of a possible glitch that allows you to do this but it only applies if you finish a NG+

I would like to be able to play the Impossible mode now with upgraded suit or the military suit, etc...

No. Dead Space does not include the NG+ feature that Dead Space 2 has. Impossible mode will have to be played from a new save. I suggest spending $3 on a Level 5 suit from the PS Store before you begin. Buy the Obsidian suit, looks cool, and you can pick it up at the first store you come across in-game. Add me up on PSN if you need any help with the playthrough!

i played Imposssible mode with only the plasma gun!!!

1st run thru i just played it normal not to get a feel of the game as i normally do with any other game.

2nd run thru i played it impossible to getc clean up the trophies and get the Platty....

i thought about it and it wokred great for me....

Just upgrade your suit and your plasma Gun. YOU CAN upgrade them both to MAX! and beleave me the PLASMS GUN IS A BEaST!!!

I started impossible mode but stopped at the begining because I ran out of bullets, bt I'll play it again and keep in mind focusing on the plasma gun.

You don't really need to focus on the Plasma gun if you don't like it. But yes, you need to make your main focus on 1-2 guns rather than looking for 3-4 to upgrade. This way, ammo drops are only for the guns you currently have in your inventory. Personally, I ran through Impossible with the Pulse Riffle. (Granted, this was almost 4 years ago, so I don't remember the specifics)

I would HIGHLY recommend buying a level 5 suit off the PS Store for $3. Totally worth it, and you will be able to wear it once you hit the first store. Not to mention you will get guns with it as well so you don't have to wait until you find the schematics.
