But it's a real enemy in the game... called "Egg-burdened" or something like that by Famitsu. However I agree, the Japanese take on it made it look more like Silent Hill/RE/Someothercreepygame than Demon's Souls... glad you like the new look!

so are we now expecting the Japanese/NA release to be at the same time? it seems that the Japanese version could be out quite a bit sooner, considering the porting on the NA version. is Namco responsible for the port or From?

There is a game that rewards you with a code sent to your mail if you manage to click a randomized sequence of 27 glyphs. Those are the strange symbols in the background. You get a maximum of 4 bad clicks until it locks you out for the day.

Ditto here - pre-ordered from Amazon to get the upgrade to Collector's Edition.  They say should be released on Dec 31, 2011, but hope it'll release at the same time as the regular edition.
