Quest Mode is now Story Mode.
PS2 version uses X JP's interface, including colored combo meters, with different fonts.

I've seen the PS2 ver it looks alot like DDR X but better.

Actually, I think it's a great idea if they put NEW songs on the disc, since it is a new DDR, and OLD songs available for download.  Depending on the price point per song (or perhaps song packs?), I'm saving up my money now because I think it's a great idea and I'll happily give Konami my money if it's a decent deal.

Konami stated that the new DDR will have 30 licenses and 20 Bemani songs.

By the way, there will also be NEW and OLD songs for Download when the game is out.

Hoorah! Does anybody know if the JP version will be any different than the U.S. one? Because I'm tired of getting a worse version than Jp because of licensing issues. Yes I did read that  MANY songs will be available for download, I just hope it's not another DDR Extreme, our Extreme was JP DDR Festival.

Date for Dance Dance Revolution for Playstation3 ver has been changed to Jan 12,2010 according to Gamestop website and other websites.

Date for Dance Dance Revolution for Playstation2 ver still be released on Oct 27,2009

At Konami.com it stated that PS3 ver is still coming out on Oct 27, 2009.

Yup, apparently the PS3 and 360 versions have their release date for Q1 2010, but i think its a good thing because we can get the PS2 version first (which as of recently, some game sites have codenamed it "DanceDanceRevolution X2") and then i can get enough money from Christmas to get the PS3 bundle kit for DDR 2009 =P

By the way, They just recently changed the name for the Wii DDR version, THAT version is now called "DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3", so if they do decide to change the names, then the PS2 version would be "DDR X2" and the 360 one would be "DDR UNI4", as for the PS3 version, it might as well be "DanceDanceRevolution" because what other name could they give the PS3 version?

If you guys do not know, Gamescon is going to happen in about 3 DAYS! Naoki Maeda and the new DDR titles are CONFIRMED to be at this convention in Germany. I will make sure to update this and other threads on the PSN for all the info, pictures, and video that crop up during the event. And yes, i have heard that the PS3 and 360 version will be on display for this convention. Not promising anything, but i just hope that they do give off something this coming Wednesday >_>.

Well guys, Gamescon started off pretty suckish, they only had playable demos of HP2 (the European version) on display for the PRESS to be able to check out and play, BUT now that the show floor is open to the public, we got some more info for you guys to check out.

Apparently, the PS2 version is now comfirmed to be "DanceDanceRevolution X2" and HP3 is still the same, but there are new screens and a little bit of songs revelead for both games.

Here's some new stuff that was revealed:

-Two new licenses confirmed. So What by Pink and La Camisa Negra by Juanes.

-Baile La Samba is a confirmed revival for X2.

-Pix is a playable dancer in X2.

-Looks like the alternate costumes available in the arcade version of X will be selectable.

-Ambiguous screens of "Request Mode" in X2 and "D.D.R. Tournament" in HP3.

That's all the info i got as of now, more should be revealed as the week rolls on ^_^.
