Hi! I could really use some help! I have a PS3 60gig. I really want to play my DDR games on it. I purchased an adapter. I tried it with my redoctane mat and 90% of the time the game does not register the pad . I'm so annoyed. Is there a way to fix it?
And if there is not a way to get it to work with the adapter, I looked and saw these:
Is it worth getting? Does it actually work? Thank you!
Hey, I feel your pain. I bought a pad similar to the first one you listed. Here is a link to it:
I own two of these pads. They are native usb so you don't need an adapter; adapters tend to create lag. My initial impression was "yea! it works, ddr on ps3!" (I own the 60Gb as well btw) but as time has worn on I can say it's not the best. I think it's the best option right now, although I want to try out those blockhead pads that best buy sells. My pad works well most of the time, the most trouble I have with it is when serious speed is need, like 8th notes on max300 or 16th notes on any other song, the pad tends to miss some. I also don't put the foam in, it's a soft foam and it hinders more than helps when you put your foot down. If you have a hard foam redoctane mat, this is different and I've heard that if you put the hard foam in this kind of pad, it works wonders. I would say if you can find these cheap on ebay it might be worth it, or I'd just check out the blockhead pad at best buy for $25, I've heard it's good.
If nothing else, hope and pray, and email and harass konami, to hurry up and actually come out with an official konami ps3 pad.
