Problem is, apparently hardcore DDR fans don't want DDR on the PS3.  If you go to DDR forums you'll find that most of them would still prefer to keep buying them on PS2.

I totally think DDR should be on PS3 and follow Rock Band's example with regular updates of new songs on PSN.

Well Sony still wants some of that whole other market (like my wife) that want to play the PS3 but are not "gamers". The day i got my PS3 my wife asked if they had DDR, so i'm sure it's safe

Well don't forget that other games like Beatmania, Guitar Freak etc.... not on PS3 yet. since blu ray holds more space, I'm sure Konami not going to use all the spaces on the disc and fill them up with alot of songs on it. Unless Konami was smart filled the disc up with more backgrounds.
