Problems when switching from HDMI to AV cable .

Im having problems switching from HDMI to AV cable. I use my ps3 on 2 different tvs and one his hi def and the other isn't. When i take my ps3 off the high def one and plug it in(using the av cable) on my regular one, nothing shows up. I figured out that if i reset all my settings before i unplug it from the High def tv, that it will work on my regular on. Does anybody know a easier way to do this? Cause every time i do, i have to re-enter the date, time, internet connect etc.. and its getting annoying.

Use the power button on the front of the console, to put it in standby mode (red light on).
Then press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps.

I had an issue with this once. If one tv is non HD and you have an HD setting such as 1080p as a supported resolution it will not work. so all you would need to do is unselect the HD resolution when changing to another tv

1 - turn system off (standbye, red light in front).

2 - hold power button until picture comes up (usually about 10-15 seconds).

this restores factory settings for audio/video.

I had this same problem when I brought my ps3 over to my moms on christmas. I just got it so I had no clue what to do. Luckily for me Ive been around tech my whole life so I figured Id hold the power button while I turn it on instead of just pressing it and it worked. Every device as a mode that involves holding the power button. Luckily it did what I needed it to do.
