I haven't been able to connect my psn to the Internet I tested yesterday and it said successfule twice but every other time I tried I just says failed my works great on everything else even my xbox 1
After reading through these comments, I'll add my two cents to see if this issue can become more public. My friends and I have all been experiencing dramatic lag spikes and occasional frame freezing throughout the three games we've tested: Overwatch, Borderlands Pre/2, Terraria. What we've found is that Overwatch, solo and grouped, has these lag issues for every one of us, probably due to the multiplayer-only nature of the game. The other games, where you aren't forced to be online, seem to only lag for the people who aren't the host. We rotated hosts and found the same results if that's worth noting.
All of our internet connections are stable and my provider is AT&T if that has anything to do with it. All of this started since the update went live; no issues of this magnitude were occuring before it. Hopefully Sony can address this as it is making some mulitplayer games unplayable. Also, resetting our modems didn't fix any of the lag.
I also have connection problems after the 4.50 update. Everytime i connect the ps4 to my router the error NW-31297-2 appears. password is correct and all other devices are working fine. I have done a complete reset on my router but nothing changed. Now i tryed to connect the ps4 with a ethernet cable to my router and now it workes fine but its not a long term solution for me because the distance from my "gaming room" to my router is too long. It really seems like the update causes this problems. Hotfix needed ASAP
