called support this morning appears to be an issue with wap wap2 security passwords
I've done some trouble shooting and you can connect to your network if you disable the password.
I even got the connection to work with my mobile hotspot.
The issue has nothing to do with the kind of router you're using but the security key that the ps4 is having trouble recognizing.
I'm using an ATT&T pace router and many people have been complaining about it even with a Linksys or otherwise.
my device is the ps4 pro
1. I'm still having this problem, getting that error message when i try to connect to my router but my phone hotspot works fine.
2. 2.4 GHz
4. 700 Pro version
5. Cisco-Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G Broadband Router
1. Still having this problem.
2. 2.4 ghz
5. Sonic Fusion Broadband
It'd be great if this was figured out. Using a wire is not an option unless I want to have an argument with my husband. ~_^
3: tried all
4: not sure
5: Asus N55u
Both will get online every so othen but will not show either of us as online after full shut down (lasts about 5 min). Cod, GTA, The Division will kick the other person out saying PSN issues. Friends list takes about 2 mins to load when online. Only game both of us can play is Titanfall 2 briefly.
Only change is 4.50 update. Both xbox ones still let me and son play online at same time so the patch with PS4 seems to be the issue.
