Unfortunately, I never had the auto eject/continuous eject look until after I installed Patch 1.61 this morning. Now my PS4 will not stop trying to eject a disk (which it already ejected after restarting after Patch 1.61 was installed)
I have been having this problem on and off for around a month (launch day console). Turned it on yesterday to update and it went into 'eject mode', thought to myself I've had enough got the box out to pack it up for a replacement. Waited for the update to finish and when it completed downloading and installing it was no longer 'ejecting'. I was hoping 1.61 would fix this but it must be a hardware problem?
Either way next time it does it Im getting a replacement.
Since 1.61 its been two days and no problems, I dont know if it is fixed, but to the very least for my ps4 its better than b4.
My playstation 4 keeps ejecting he inserted disk. Once the disk is out it keeps making a noise like a disk is ejecting even when there is no disk inserted. I've tried eveything and it just keep doing it at random times.
I'm currently having this problem as well. Only I was playing N4S Rivals. It was working well all of yesterday and then I turned on the system today and the game ejected and wouldn't let me put it back in. It then started to make a noise indicating that it is ejecting even though there is no disk inserted.
I was really hoping to not have to send the system in but it looks like I don't have a choice.
