Re: [INFO] Issues with ejecting PS4 discs

Yep, unpluggin and taking all the power seems to do the trick. The thing is that people say this comeback with time. So everytime you got this, you have to do this as a workaround.

Re: [INFO] Issues with ejecting PS4 discs

Aug 13, 2014

I had this issue pretty much every other day, since January.  Tried everything.  Removing rubber foot, tightening the eject screw etc'.

I took the advice of the guy on here who recommended scratching the gold plate.  bought a Torx T9 security screwdriver, opened up the PS4, scratched the plate.  Guess what?...

It worked.  This was a month ago that I did this.

So happy with my PS4 now that it doesn't eject discs randomly and beep in the middle of the night when not even in standby lol.

Cheers for the advice, guy who suggested it.

be aware that this will void your warranty. if you are still under warranty i advice you to take advantge of it. Specially if it happening that often. Mine does it every 2 or more month. nothing i can`t live with it. (touch wood)

try unplugging it while its trying to eject the (non-exsistent) disc and leave it for about 5-10 minutes and then replug it and wait until it leaves safe mode and reboots completely and then trying putting it in. thats how i did it and it worked good luck

putting it on vertical solves my issue, but I dont like risking it to fall so I went to the sony service center and hopefully they would be able to fix it Smiley Frustrated
