Hope you all solve your problems with your systems.
Problem: Turned on my ps4. Made a funny noise (disc). Tried using the eject button on front of ps4 = NO RESULTS.
Here is my solution:
1. Unhook all cables.
2. Shake ps4 (to loosen disc)
3. Grab a toothpick or something similar
4. Put toothpick under disc (BE VERY CAREFUL) and try to move disc up.
5.Repeat steps 2 and 4 (if no results)
This solution did work for me and nothing was damaged at the end. Please do be careful and patient when doing this. Thanks.

I had the problem of the PS4 always ejecting. I only played 1 PS4 game by disk and that was months ago BUT the GF does watch dvds thouhg it. It sites flat, not on its side and yesterday she turned it on and went to watch a a dvd but it would not take it and she said it was making a funny noise. I had her turn it off and when I got home checked it out. Sure enough as soon as I turned it on started I heard the eject noise. It kept doing it every 30 secs to a minute. Read on here what worked and didnt work for people. I pulled the footy off so it was not touching but it still kept doing it. Pulled the cables and pluged just the power back in and did the same. Once I turned it to the side and put a disk in it took and loaded. Tipped her flat again and was reading fine. Ejected and put it in a few times, played the movie, FF, RE, all working good. Tested again this morning and still working. Hope this helps.
