i had the same problem but it was still there even if the consloe was upright but i found out how to fix it
the problem is feet on the ps4 if you look closely at the eject button/heat sensor the plastic foot is all most
touching the button just remove the foot and the problem is gone to remove the feet just simpley give a slight pull on the center of the foot
Where do you all store your PS4?
I don't see how this could be the issue though as mine, and others, are vertical so there shouldn't be any pressure from the rubber feet unless it's a really really bad design and even without the weight of the system this happens. I am glad that this apparently fixed your system though and you don't have to wait for over a month to get a working ps4 back to you!
No solution. I shutdown at night leaving Need For Speed in. The ps4 just comes on by itself and the disc is ejected, kept ejecting for a while then shutdown and restarted ... the system is in a cool place lying down. Will monitor it ...
I got this issue in January...follow this forum advise and remove the rubble feet....no problem for 2 months.....however, problem came back last weekend (beeping, disk ejecting)...unplugged and power off everything.... Works for awhile...but it just happened again..**bleep**....Sony are you listening?
