[INFO] CE-34878-0 AND CE-36329-3 Errors

Hi all, 

 

The CE-34878-0 and CE-36329-3 errors refer to "An error (that) has occured with an application or system software" where the application in question unexpected quit as listed on our support page below:

Here are a few ways to deal with the error message:

 

Option 1 (Update system software and application data): Close the application, install the latest system software and game update, and restart the system.

 

Option 2 (PS Camera Compatibility): If a PS Camera is connected to the system, remove it and reboot the system, then go to [Settings] > [User] > [Login Settings] and turn "Enable Face Recognition" OFF.

 

Step 3 (Save Data Issues): If the error occurs again, back up your saved data, and then go to [Settings] > [Initialization] and choose [Initialize PS4].  If it continues after initialization, check to see if you have save data in online storage.  If you suspect incorrect save data in online storage, remove the affected save from system and online storage.

 

Things to remember:

  1. Check to see if this error occurs with multiple titles. If not, you may be dealing with a game or app specific crash that may be helped by re-patching/re-downloading.
  2. If you suspect issues due to your local network, try using a wired connection and/or checking your network settings results  http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/nw_test.html
  3. Periodically back up saves to USB and/or online storage if you have Save Data concerns.

I bought the ps3 version and then downloaded that 10 dollar ps4 version, only to get into the game then quickly crash and not work giving me this error code, anybody else having this issue??

This is driving me nuts... been on hold for 40 mins trying to talk to someone from Sony, Xbox is starting to look better with each passing minute

For me it's working on the new account I made for ps4 (for a master account) but for my main account (the one I played for 7 years with on ps3), it's crashing right when I click multiplayer. My only guess is, if you are doing the upgrade from ps3 to ps4 ghost, it's having issues if you are using an account with previous stats on it... I could be wrong it's a wild guess.

Same error code. Says save file is corrupt when I actually make it to a screen then crashes. I checked system data and there is no save file.
