Activision's developers have already revamped the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare formula five times, in a way. We've seen the annualization of Call of Duty every year; it's as if we're playing through the same storyline, only different. It's as if we're playing the same multiplayer, but of course with new skills, new killstreaks, and fresh maps. To spend a year concentrating on a remake of the same game that people still play - and on the same platforms it was released - it doesn't sound like the best way to go.

its the only way to go,mw/mw2 were the best games they made if they remade mw1 brought it upto date and not alterd it it would outsel any other game,me and at least 23 of my mates would buy it and bin the rest,please remake cod 4

They break their own sales record every year. 

So yeah...not gonna happen.
