It's not just zombies it freezes during gameplay or in lobbies too. It's not just you its happening to everybody. You would think after all the games in the COD series that these issues would be behind us.

Ok it seams to me that it happens when im partied up with friends. Try playing but dont party up and see hiw it does. I may be wrong but if im not partied with freinds it dont freeze up for me.

im having this issue as well slim ps3. not only has my ps3 been freezing once an hour, i cant even get a whole round of zombies in without a server error.

The game freezes my PS3 hard when I play multiplayer. I hate it. The same thing happened with the first Black Ops.

I have a very old ps3. I hope all these freezing and rebuilding doesnt destroy my concole. geesh! Are we beta testing live for Treyarch?

Treyarch will probably fix this by the end of the week.

Same issue.  I have played maybe 3 and 1/2 hours and have frozen now 3 times.  3 rebuilds of the file system.  My hard drive is already on its way out and this isn't helping.

just so everyone knows, this is an issue that treyarch are aware of. the cod site is filled with complaints. they've been asking everyone to post all of the pertinent details to reproduce the glitch and fix it.
