at least it tells you now, I remember the days when all it gave was some stupid error code. One time it had the error code that its presents when your banned from the network and lol everybody was freaking out becuase they thought sony banned like half of PSN.

It's definetely not 9 hours.

Maybe less then an hour.

That sounds about right! The other guys is just full of it! LOL

I remember everytime they update it(maintenance) it's only a couple of hrs not 9hrs.
