With MW2 And now Black OPS  I have a NAT type 1 and People cannot join my party weather I invite them or not.

After the update i went to a moderate NAT and people were able to join me.... Now im back at open

I have tried opening ports, putting the ps3 in the DMZ Changed ip on ps3, reset router played with settings on router changed from wired connection to wireless....

Any ideas? It drives me nuts i cant host a party.

I have comcast internet

Try connecting your PS3 directly to your modem and see if it works.

Same thing here. But im set to Strict. Never had a problem before. Now BO and NBA 2k11 are both strict with i try to play online. So on Black Ops i can not invite friends or join invites.

Do you have dsl or cable?

I have DSL. I have connected directly from Modem to Playstation and still get strict. Please see my post that i just made on Call of Duty forums.

You need to call your dsl provider and asked them how to put your modem into bridged mode. That should take care of it.

Yea cisco was incorrect. They should've said your isp.
