make sure that you downloaded the right dlc package for your disc.  there are about 7 different versions of dlc i think.  also as posted on another forum, wait until off peak hours (morning/early afternoon western europe time) to redownload and install the package.

Sometimes I have a problem downloading content because of my router, and it just takes a reset of both the PS3, and the router...also make sure you disable any and all Media Servers...that's been known to cause some problems sometimes - especially with MW2 updates (I coldn't get 1.09 forever until I figured out to switch off Media Servers)

This is a sony issue not an end user issue.  Talk about falling short and not providing their community with reliable service.

Then again, we don't pay for their service so you shouldn't expect anything XBL like.

We don't pay a subscription for the online service like XBox users do, however the online features are clearly advertised heavily to us when we are sold a PS3 and many of the games that play on it.

Paying a subscription is irrelevant and while I accept there are no guarantees to the online service, if it badly lets us down - as is often the case with Sony and new or important releases - it's damaging for the format and gets it's customer's backs up.

Not paying a subscription doesn't mean we can't moan about it.

There's nothing more frustrating than paying for a map pack on the store and then find it won't install. Especially when many, all over the net, are having the same problems and the installation fails at 14% for us all with the same error message.

I had the exact same error when installing PS Home. It fixed itself in a week.... As far as I know there is no known fix, that can be done by the end user.

It's funny how not even Sony knows about their own systems errors..... you'd be hard pressed to get ANY useful information out of this website (see link below) AT ALL.
