Call of Duty Series

I know hacking is rampart in CoD4, and MW2, but was wondering if this is also happening in CoD: World at War?

I'd like to play, but I don't want to risk loosing my progress if there are hacks happening on there.

The only CoD I've been playing since this all started has been Black Ops, and really wish Sony would start doing Permanent Bans to PSN for people doing this stuff.

I've seen hackers in World at War but no lobbies that reset your stats yet.  If you find the game on sale for $10 I would pick it up.  Otherwise just stick to Black Ops.

World at War hasn't been destroyed like Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2. I played it hack free and it was fun.

Just got hacked today as soon as I logged into a lobby to play online and had messages on screen that said HAHAHAHAHA and you have been reset and prestige reset. I found myself back at private lvl 1. I was up to lvl 56. This really sucks. People like this that like to make misery for others are truly sick. Ruins the game for everyone. Is there anything playstation network can do?

You're exactly one year late on that. I recommend you report the offending players via the column on the XMB.

I have seen some pretty bad hacks. One hack I ran into was where a guy plays as a zombie in team deathmatch and you could not kill him with anything......litteraly, not even headshots did the trick. All he would do  is look at you, hit you once, and you die. Sucked the fun out of the whole game. I also se players titles like a rainbow color that glows and bounces around when you are in a multiplayer lobby.

Just played today the game is ruined. I was trying to play until the black ops 2 map pack was available. People are flying, infinite health, its unplayable unless you do a private party. I don't understand why psn doesn't band them.

Absolutely unplayable. It's worse than MW2 at this point.

Is there any way to get them banned from the Call of Duty servers?

I'm going to start saving all of their gamertags and report them to whoever might do something about it, be it Activision, Sony or both.

They should police their product, the Call of Duty team should just go PLAY THEIR GAME and start banning the people using hacks.  We had some awesome games until these idiots come into the lobbies, this is still the best multiplayer Call of Duty, when losers aren't ruining it.
