I'll be happy if they fix the matchmaking bugs. But what I really want is dedicated servers hosted by Activision instead of this crappy p2p hosting. You're always ending up hosted on somebody's laggy jittery connection, and if they get bored with the game they just turn their PS3 off and the match ends.
I'm tired of getting lag deaths after I've gone around corners. I'm tired of emptying an entire clip into somebody's head from 2 feet away then getting knifed and watching the killcam and I never fired at all. When will these guys realize that there's no substitute for properly hosted servers with reliable connectivity? Between COD4, MW2, and Black Ops, Activision has raked in more than enough dough to spring for dedicated servers. Bobby Kotick must've pocketed it all for himself.

The framerate and/or lag is not affected by the theater mode at all. Whatever gave you this presumption?

Well all the recording or logging (whatever theatre mode actually does) can only have a negative impact surely?
Let the processing power just be used for the game.
So it's 9:30 my time (British/GMT) so the patch should be here when I next put on the PS3.
Anyone actually confirm that the patch did go live?
