Are you going to spend $15 on 3 new maps + 2 old ones?

The “Stimulus Package”, due for release on Xbox Live on March 30th, is set to provide fans with five new multiplayer maps and will be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($14.99). The maps encompass a variety of locations and the three brand new maps are as follows;

“Bailout,” a multi-level apartment complex,
“Storm,” an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery,
“Salvage,” a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars.

Alongside this two firm fan favourites from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare are included too, which are “Crash,” a war-torn urban environment – which Bowling comments as being “one of the greatest maps in the franchise” – and “Overgrown,” which features a massive dry creek bed that is wide open and therefore great for sniping!

For me, I'm thinking about waiting for a couple of weeks until the PS Store has one of those sales for DLC content b/c $15 is just way to much for 3 new maps.

Honestly, 15 bucks seems too much just for 5 maps. I will probably enjoy it for only a few months before I get bored of it. Like, new weapons, game modes, maps and stuff it'll be worth it.

Nope. I might have bought it if it came out this month like the box users get. But the end of April? Give me a break. I'm just going to gameshare this if I am actually still playing the game by then.

I paid 10 for 3 new maps on cod4, and probably close to 30 for the maps and zombie modes in WAW, so this seems about the fair going price for some solid DLC.

I don't understand why people are trippin' balls that the maps are 15 dollars. It seems just about right.

I payed 10 bucks for only 3 maps on COD4. So 15 bucks for 5 maps seems good to me.

It does seem kind of stupid that they're making us pay for Crash and Overgrown when we've already payed for those....but the experience will be so much different with MW2. I was obsessed with Crash, so I KNOW I will be getting that one. I think it's gonna be DAMN fun with MW2 weapons and what not.

Plus, they're seperating them into 2 packs. New and Old. So just pay for the new ones if you're that concerned about 5 bucks.
