Good weapon, but if you decide to prestige, it really sucks cuz you only get a short amount of time to use it.

I love the AK its just sad i only get to use it for a short time since I prestige, but really I prefer the ACR and I think the ACR makes up from its low damage with its fire rate and accuracy

I love the Kalashnikov.. It's got awesome stopping power. I really dislike the "modern" look to it though.. I prefer the wood grip/butt stock.

I actually think the game gives the AK really good accuracy during a long spray.. I fully expected to be all over the place when I fired it, hahaha.

The ACR in my opinion is way to weak firing from the hip. If you're looking down the sight, sure it's pretty much an assured kill.. But the AK is great from the hip, and good down the sight.

I think the Tar-21 is the same story as the AK, just slightly weaker.

To me, the F2000 is a sub-machine gun in disguise.. It's terrifying from the hip at close to medium range. At long range though, it can't compete.

Overall, I find the AK-47 or Tar-21 to be the best all around weapons. on a scale of 1-10(10 being the best), they both get 9's.

I loved the AK in COD4. In MW2, it's a little meh.

In the high damage weapons, if it's close to medium range, the TAR dominates. If it's medium to long range, the SCAR dominates. There isn't much of a role for the AK between the two, IMO.

ACR = M4A1. FAMAS = M16. TAR-21 = AK47

SCAR-H, F2000, and FAL are the only unique assault rifles.

I know right, in CoD4 the AK was better. I can't figure out why though. Probably because everything in this game is so easy mode the AK seems like a lower tier weapon.
