My bro use to host circuit races on BP. They are easy to make but not easy to run. He had the 60 mile race around Paradise that people didn't have the balls to finish. To this date no one beaten his top time for the route.
I prefer circuit races or checkpoint races more then A to B races.

whats the route look like? too bad we can only have 10 checkpoints, I would have done like 50 but kept everyone close together to keep it a close circuit.

Some on the levels just look like a "go here, U-turn and come back".. Can you overlap checkpoints? If you can then I understand this compeltely then.
I should get on making some courses then woot.

Well, now there is a new downloadable burnout game called burnout crash. It's mostly like the crash junctions but as an arcade-style and has Autolog like in Need for Speed.
Here's a picture of it:

I'm glad they did away with it in Paradise because it would not fit with the free roam concept.
If it's a high user demand, I suggest it be in a completely different mode, like how you start off the game and it asks you if you want to head to paradise city, BSI, start a party or go to the store. I recommend it be in its own section and not part of completing it as a part of the main course of the game. Crash modes took long to load and often times retrying will occur in the harder junctions.
You kidding rght? Crash mode in Burnout 2 and 3 were great especially in multiplayer. I didn't like it in revenge because they made it too complicated for my taste. Actually it'll work well with the free roam since they've managed to add on the marked man, stunt run, road rage, and cops and robbers in downloads on BP. I would like to see them bring back the circuit racing since that's pretty much all I did in Burnout 2, 3, and revenge.
Life is an act, so pick your part.
I am really surprised too. Crash mode was so much fun in the older games. The power-ups were perhaps not the best idea, but it was still fun regardless. Yes, it would not have fit in Paradise since it was an open world game, but Showtime was a joke and not worthy of replacing Crash. But to say it sucks is bizarre since it is really fun.
It would be cool if you could create your own crash junctions however. I would just create the most elaborate junction ever seen and then it would be rewarding to destroy it xD
