Word has come out of a possible new Burnout game. "Burnout Crash" as it was called may be in the works at EA. Whether it is developed by Criterion or in fact real at all is debatable at this point. According to what has be revealed, Burnout Crash will be "an action arcade style game set in the fictional world of Crash City. The aim of the game is to cause as much damage as possible to traffic and buildings by crashing a car into them." Well, that is Burnout in a nut shell and I have to say I am already hoping this is real.
The first thing that hits me is that this is set in a new city, not Paradise City. The second thing that hits me is-if the summary can be believed-you can damage the buildings for the first time in the franchise. I hope this is true as I have been hoping for this ever since B3. Once again this is only a rumor with a few bits of spilled information, but it does sound believable and since Criterion just finished with Hot Pursuit it is very possible a new Burnout is in the works.

I sure hope this is true. We're about due for a new title. Hopefully we still get the huge open world we got in Burnout Paradise, as well as all the bonus content and game changing content.
