I hate to get into arguments like this over the internet, where the two parties know nothing about each other, but choose to call each other out about their personal lives.
I, in fact, do have a salary paying job. I am currently in school to become a commercial pilot. I play this game roughly 45 minutes a day. (That's my average when you average the amount of hours this game has been out to my hours played)
I never claimed to be the king of FPS. There are plenty of other no-life level 100 kids who play this game 5 and 6 hours a day to claim that title. I will say that a player with a .6 K/D ratio does not need to be making claims that C4 is OP or that we need stingers that overpower flares/ECM. It makes you look even dumber than you're original requests. Stingers are already easymode with the latest patch and you die A LOT more than you kill in this game. You're terrible and hold no water when it comes to changes in this game. Players like yourself have already ruined this game enough by your **bleep** and whining about how things are OP. Hence why DICE has changed pretty much every weapon in every patch to cater to the players who suck at this game.

Give assault and recon C4 so they can take out tanks. Tanks are OP. Only support and engineers can take them out. Maybe give them javelins too? Everyone loves javelins.
Noah, Till C4 its good I love assault and have M16A3 in its one of my fav guns don't have any of my fav guns in ENGINEER if, they add C4 in assault would be good only C4 no javelin will ruin the classes.

Wait a minute. The OP was serious about all those changes? An anti-tank sniper rifle? If you do that, you might as well just give players the Iron Man suit and let them fly around and shoot lasers.
Anyway, I think tanks should need teamwork to take out. Unless of course the driver is an idiot, which means that one person can easily take him out.

On that note, why not reduce the effect of the C4 and mine. Why is it, going head to head in tanks it takes four or five shots to destroy the other tank, yet here comes Eddy Engineer with a mine, or Skippy Support with his C4 and it is a one hit kill? That is unrealistic, if you ask me.
As far as the classes, I think they are fine the way they are. Lets NOT give weapons from one class to other classes.
I already have beef with teammates that load up as snipers. Wow eight snipers in a round, that is dumb. People really don't get the concept behind building a squad. The class names spell it out: Engineer, SUPPORT, RECON, ASSAULT.
While I will agree the Engineer can be the free roamer, they do have responsibilities. Support should support the freaking Assault, and Recon should move to a point to provide cover and oh, I don't know, RECONNAISSANCE.
That is just my ideas though.
It does not take 4-5 hits with an RPG to kill a tank. It takes 4 max, and that is if you hit him with reactive armor. It only takes 2 hits to destroy a tank without reactive from the back. My advice, plan your shot before you fire and look to see if he has reactive or not.
The reason AT Mines and C4 take less to kill (2 AT Mines, 3 C4 for a full health tank....it is NOT a 1-hit kill) is because those things take skill. If you are killed by these things on a regular basis, then you are a bad tank driver. AT mines are **bleep** near useless in this game bacause of 3D spotting and they stay spotted for a LONG time. So when I get a kill with a mine, I feel very accomplished. Same with a tank, if a tank driver allows me to get right on top of him with C4, then so be it. I should get a kill. It keeps tanks balanced.
Also, at least considering mines, you are hitting the absolutely least armored portion of that tank; it's underbelly. C4 is a bit less realistic but I still like it's effects...since you ARE climbing almost onto the tank to use it.

I'v completed my list this things would be better:-
Imagine something: If you work at DICE, on BF team would you watch how players react over your game? So, is clear that DICE folks read our opinions and take our feedback in consideration.
And before going futher on tweaks/balance lets build some players profiles and try to use them to see how they can create noise on the signal we send to DICE. Here is it:
- Casual players: Play some hours in a week, tend to become sad when killed too many times in a row without able to
play as usual but don't mind much about it. Just switch to another server.
- Exclusive vehicle player: Play a lot(almost every day) and tend to play exclusively on one kind of vehicle(jet, tank, heli)
and tend to be seen on servers that only play maps with his preferred vehicle.
- Jack of all trades: Play a lot and are somewhat good on any role
- Infantry only: Play a lot, but tend to prefer stay on foot.
Please, take on consideration that I'm making a big generalization. People can and do switch between profiles and/or can be a mix.
But for simplification, keep those profiles in mind.
I don't see why guns need to be tweaked most of the time. Unless clearly OP(like FAMAS) or with bug, tweaks are unnecessary. Since patch 1.05 guns are well balanced, not perfect but ok. People get adapted and I don't see any obvious OP gun anymore. Some complain about M16A3 and M4A1, but they're not OP, they're simple a good all around gun. If you need long range or very close quarters gun you probably will want a another weapon, but with some trade-offs. Is a matter of choice.
Below radar was a great solution for a skilled player get out of lock, it need to get back. No excuse on that.
As infantry I must be able to put it down if the pilot isn't good. Otherwise should be hard and combined with more players.
In one hand are some exclusive choppers pilots that think that their vehicles should rule without being down and in another hand casual and infantry only players that get **bleep** off being so easily killed.
What would balance things: Below radar working and Lock weapons with a range between 1.05 and 1.06 patch. And yes two flares on Attack choppers is not cool.
So, how to fix: Just get bellow radar on again and we will be ok.
Well, Jets are real beasts in life and should be in game. I don't see anything wrong with it.
MBT and other armored ground vehicles: I liked the last patch(1.05), even been a tank player, I think that you must be
more tactical using it and be careful. It was just ridiculous how some guys just ran to the middle of the battle and take so long
for a team to take care of it. And if you are ruling a game with your Tank or IFV and the other team wants to blow you up. Well,
they must be able to do so if your team does not protect you.
Ultimate balance tip for players:
PTFO!! Most of BF3 maps are even, in consoles(we I play) you get 12 players on each side
And the same number of vehicles. Caspian is 2 jets, 1 attack Heli, 3 MBT. If your tank is being destroyed by enemy chopper or jet,

- At least 3 attack Helis in Caspian border noobs always wait in the helipad to grab a single Viper.

How make BF3 almost perfect on patch 1.07 from 1.06:

- Decrease Igla/Stinger range a bit, less than 1.06 more than 1.05. I think that a good way is that I should be able to
protect the flag where I am and a bit more. A player in the middle of the flags area should't be able to lock on air
vehicles out of a closer range of the closer flag.

- Protect deployment air space
- Fix Canals conquest on consoles(should be 1 scout heli, 1 tank and 1 IFV for both teams)

Well, I sure forget some things, but if 1.07 patch look like that, we will have a well balanced game.
It's hard to fix, but I think that a good solution is close to how Kharg island work.
Put US aircraft on carrier and move infantry and ground vehicle deployment to where is B today.
Move RU deployment where it is on PC(airfield)
Original A and B flags should be removed, use PC flags C/D/E
Make it 1 Scout Heli, 1 MBT and 1 IFV for both factions.
I really think that design will be a lot better.
◘And most importantly give patches in 100 MB separated so slow internet connections can download.

id like them to make the mortors back to long rang firing again. why its symple in real war they are not very close to the close action thus giving them advantage point as it should be. in this game the nerf it and now you have to be in eye range of a sniper. this is stupid as in real war its hard for a sniper to get thru half the enemy to get to mortors which sit out side the hot zone. Dice screw the pooch when the nerf that weapon and this is what made the game average to me cause now anyone can come up to a motor and kill you.
i would like them to nerf the sniper weapons so they shoot better and kill more. seems this has been the biggest issue in the game since day one. worse part is you have to shoot so many people to get the top sniper gun. that gun is unstopable.
