Thanks for the reminder, I'm sure new players will find it nice to know that they can unlock the M1911. But, like TKearney, I've had mine since day 1.

I'd say the M1911 is the best pistol in the game. Hits harder than the M9 / MP443 but with larger capacity and ability to shoot faster than the Magnum / Rex. The G18 is pretty good too.

I'm probably go w/ M1911, then G18 or Rex or Magnum depending on preference.
Is Rex two shot kill in CQC? Cuz the magnum is but it shoots slower.

I agree that it's the best pistol. I tend to use the one with the flashlight, or if I'm a recon running a silenced kit, I use the silenced M1911.

I go tac light all the time. If you're using your pistol you're most likely already spotted so might as well try to blind them.
