What do you mean? Are you assuming it's going to be patched or has it been announced..?
Best gun is hard to say... USAS-12 w/ 12G FRAG and Extended mag is deadly *WHEN* it's used right. Close quarters can get you killed with it, and yeah it's my most used weapon so far (I have plans to unlocking everything for all the weapons) but after getting 350 kills with it... I prefer bullets. A more standard buckshot just doesn't have enough kick, and if I was going to use buck I'd rather just switch to an M16.
I think the best gun comes down between the M16A3 and the M416. I LOVE using suppressors on my guns, except the LMG and sniper rifles. It matches my playstyle, and a suppressor on an AR or Carbine = lethal.

Silencers are going to make the accuracy lower after this upcoming big patch. That is why he said "prepatch".

My personal opinion is the SKS with the fore grip silencer or lazer sight dosn't really matter what ever feels right with you and the PKA-S hold sight the best hands down gun ever

the m416 is no where near the M16A3 the M16A3 has the PERFECT amount of recoil the PERFECT amount of fire power and the perfect fire rate for close quarters and medium to long range the M416 is just terrable (remember this its MY OPINION) i hate it its got crap fire rate for close quaters and the long range is just **bleep** it has barley any range i have the M16A3 for both sides cause my engenier and assult class are maxed out lol and i love the M16A3 and the AK's are the best guns in the game

Contrary to what you currently believe, the M416 is actually the new M16A3. I won't argue that M16A3 still has a better

ROF, but everything else? Made the M416 everyone's new lollipop.

I don't think there really is a "best" weapon persay. It's more about personal preference. 

For me I like G36C, M249, M98B & AEK. Lately I've been really liking the A91. It's pretty accurate even at longer ranges, so long as you burst fire. More accurate than the G36C or SCAR-H at least.

The guns I can't stand are Type 88, M4, M39 EMR, & AN94.

Isn't a HEAD-SHOT a ONE-HIT KILL anyway? I'm really sick of having to shoot someone TWICE with a bolt-action sniper rifle to get a kill. By the way, my "Best Hands Down Weapon in BF3" is SV98 with a Suppressor and Ironsights. It's decent at medium-range (about 2-3 shots to kill), but when you're in close-quarters it's a 1-shot kill 95% of the time.
