when i first got batman and put it in the console. i turned it on and let it install. it said the data was corrupt. i figured it was because i had already downloaded the demo, so i deleted the demo. then i deleted the "corrupted" game data to start the process over again. it took about 3 minutes then went back to XMB menu. i restarted the console, and when i started the game it went up to the screen where it says: for example (the batman insignia is a trademark of dc) and the same screen with the batman insignia on it. then the little timer appears in the upper right corner for 1 second, then takes me back to the XMB menu. it keeps doing that.

PLEASE HELP ME!

i wish i could help, i bought the disc after playing the demo, and i started my disc no problem with the demo still installed

I had a similar experience with corrupt data and this game.  First time, I was playing the game and my town lost power so the data got corrupt.  I deleted the file and started a game over.  Was right in the beginning stages so no big deal.  Started playing over and got even further then one day when the game was saving it got corrupt again.  I deleted the game install and now will have to start all over from the beginning.  I guess I will have to backup every so often to protect me for this happening again.  Now if the town loses power, I cant blame anybody but the second time happened few hours after the update.  I am not blaming the update but wonder what caused the game to get corrupt.  Sony says it downloaded something when it tried to save.  After two times having to start over I am just going to put this game aside and play something else for a while.  I really like the game and want to get through the story and then pick up part 2 when and if its released.  Hopefully I finish this game before that.

this is the only game I have ever had corrupt data on and had to start over.

You likely have a corrupted PS3 database and / or file system and need to repair those by using the Recovery Menu. Read that link fully, then access the Recovery Menu and choose "Restore File System". Next go back there and choose "Rebuild Database".

Note: stay away from option 5 which is Restore PS3 System, as that will erase everything on your system!

i am having a problem installing batman to my ps3 it just says installing data and nothing ever happens. I just bought the game today and its not working do it normally take this long for a game to lnstall or could the game be damage
