I was just wondering what exactly the patches fix that are out for it right now?  Are most of the bugs and glitches fixed or does Ubisoft still need to come out with another patch?  I have been thinking about buying this game but I have heard that right now the game is still a little buggy.

Yeah I'm wondering too.  I read in one of my video game magazines that people are falling through the ground into in endless void.  Lots of bugs and glitches.  Game Informer rated AC3 one of the top 10 biggest disappointments of 2012.

the game is VERY buggy, i fell through the map before the screen could load, id wait a while before you buy it

After this last patch, it was pretty obvious that Ubisoft wasn't going to do anything else with the game as far as upkeep.

It was would be a shock if they did. The main campaign still needs work. There focus has been soley on MP since

Hmm, does anyone know how many patches there are, and how big they are? Would be appreciated if you could find out.

Anyways. I've played this game on my friends PS3, just did a few random things and had no problems. If I have problems, I'll probably just return it.

I think I'll wait until Feb or Mar then get this game.  By then hopefully they've fixed the story game with more patches.  I'm not much of an online gamer so I could care less about patches that fix the online multiplayer stuff.  What version is the game up to now?

I went ahead and bought AC3 from Amazon.  I should have it in a few days.  Is there any tips or tricks that someone can share?  Also, is there any bugs or glitches that I should watch out for?

I haven't experienced any bug, glitches, or any problems with AC3's story or mp. Mp is really fun just so you know hahaha.
