Just in case you didn`t know, it comes out sept 25. It`s been over a year since funimation announced they got the second season. It`s up for pre order on rightstuf. I do hope amazon.ca adds it up pretty soon, since I don`t want to have to preorder it from right stuff, as I am in canada and I can get it for cheaper on amazon. (since the shipping is expensive on right stuff to canada, $7 for one item, plus the chance of having to pay duty. and a 2 week wait for it.) on amazon, I can get it with free shipping and recieve it within 2 days.
Anyway, who`s planning on getting this? I also hope funimation gets the remaining seasons as well.
I heard rumors it's unfortunately going to get an entire recast.
Anyway I'm excited (Despite the fact my love for the franchise has dwindled-blame Shana III). I'm going to go for the Rightstuf bundle if it lasts.

On a side-note, I hope to gawd FUNimation is doing their own upscale for the BD. The Japanese Blu-ray for season 2 of the series in particular looks very, very bad. Lots of fansub groups dropped the project. Though at least it's a combo pack, so if the BD sucks, you have the DVD to fall back on.
Also they already got the rest of the series, so no need to worry there. It's just a matter of waiting.
About the rurmors you heard, has there been any official word on that, I would perfer it if they kept the original cast, however it won`t effect me getting it, it`s an awesome series.
I think I will rewatch season 1, it`s been a very long time since I watched it, so it will be good to refresh my memory of the 1st season before I start the 2nd.
I don't remember there being any official word, but I won't be surprised if they have a recast. The Geneon dub for season 1 was done by Ocean IIRC, and FUNimation just uses their in-house actors.
Also speaking of season 1, yeah I need to rewatch that too. Thank gawd it's coming back into print. It was going for like $150+ before FUNimation announced they were able to bring it back into print.
People do pay. That's actually how much Japan pays for anime, and the shocking thing to many people is, these sets sell, despite the fact Japan's cost of living is higher, and their wages are much lower than ours. So in the end, they have less money to buy anime than we do, yet they buy more.

We now have reason to worry about the video quality on the season 2 BD. Screenshots of FUNimation's season 1 Blu-ray have surfaced and, they used the same horrible Japanese masters.*Barfs*
We can now assume they'll use the Japanese masters for season 2, and that looked worse than season 1. Thank gawd these are combo packs so I have the DVD's to use.
