Anyone else remember playing the DuckTales video game on the NES back in the day? An enjoyable platformer by its very nature, you were controlling the pivotal character Scrooge McDuck in search of treasure. At least it seems Capcom hasn't forgotten about the very same game they released so long ago, as this Summer intends to bring back the Scrooge clan in a quest known only as DuckTales Remastered.
At the cost of $15, it appears that this venture will capitalize on the 8-bit classic by remastering it. Voice actors are being brought in and hand-drawn sprites will exist in a 3D world. Along with features like a museum, the game will also allow you to swim through Scrooge's money vault.
So, what does everyone think? Anyone planning on ordering Duck this Summer? For the full scoop on the story, check it out here.
I can't wait! I already have the game pre-ordered on the PSN. I got 20% off for pre-ordering and being a Plus member. I had the original game for the NES when I was a kid. I remember that I never beat it because it was to difficult for me back then. I'm 36 now, have been playing video games my whole life and I'm ready for a rematch! Not only do I plan on beating it but I plan on getting 100% of the trophies for it. Hopefully it has a platinum trophy. Quackaroonie!
P.S. That's just a picture that I found on the internet. I don't own the original cartridge anymore.
