Action/Adventure General

I just got Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3(Obvisouly) and I feel as if theres not much action so far. Does it get more interesting? Or even MORE boring?

I just completed the mission, Jamacian Heat. Also, I tried to Race in mulyiplayer but I guess no one else was there. Do people still play this online?

It gets more entertaining as it goes on but not by much. The most enjoyable part of the game by far is the DLC, unfortunately you have to pay extra for that, of course.

The appeal of the game is really just messing around, I think the online is still active, yeah, but of course not as much as it used to be.

Keep playing until you get to the mission "Three Leaf Clover". You won't regret it. Of course, it's all down hill from there until the two/three missions. 

GTA4's strength is mostly in it's storytelling/characters

this game remains @ this slow pace. it has only a few big missions and funny lines. Overall it wasn't a very entertaining story. i enjoy the online content and DLC, This game didn't have the major "come-back" and play features like all the other GTA's had.

Also my #1 complaint is the heavy congestion of traffic and buildings making it unconventional to drive around the "islands." I get it's trying to simulate big city situations. i felt like it'd be faster to take the subway around the map rather than drive. I found myself always hailing cabs to get to places in a hurry. This is a real shame because i've masterd GTA style driving and stunts and this game won't let you pull it off. They over did the physics factor and took all the fun out of it,
