If you really want a trowback to the first two Zelda games 3D Dot Game Heroes is the ticket. I'm on my first playthrough and it is all there. Gameplay, music, dungeons, secrets and increasing difficulty in the latter levels. I took FF13 out of the PS3 for it and I have yet to put it back in.

Darksiders for sure my friend. Very similar play style except a more mature setting & story.

Try Ys: The Ark of Napishtim for the ps2. Its very similar to Zelda for the Snes and it's a great game.

3D Dot Game Heros is exactly like the old zeldas. It is a great game if your looking for that type of gameplay.

Have you all forgotten about Sir Daniel in Medievil or Kingsley in Kingsley's Adventure? Those two games will scratch the Zelda itch for sure. Okami was the best choice I saw on here. Possibly try Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance or Lord of The Rings war in the North they lack the puzzle element but make up for it in dungeon delving.

Does anyone know of any sort of search engine for video games? Something similar to the "music genome" of Pandora? I am looking for a way to list games I like and/or have played or ones I own, put them into some sort of library/que and then have the engine/Web site/app or whatever it is then populate a list of other games I might enjoy playing based off the list I provided
