MAG - Discussion
Excited about MAG and want to tell everyone? This is your first stop to discuss the game!

Agreed :(. Even a hint of,
"Hey, I'm so glad you guys are coming up with these great ideas for us, and we don't even have to pay you! But, our user base is dropping by the hundreds per day and we aren't doing anything to make it better, even with all of these fantastic ideas you've come up with. We could give everyone quick updates on what we're working on.... but, ya know.... we won't."
That'd be nice...- Report Abuse

be patient for what exactly? They haven't given a time frame so we could be patient forever theoretically?
It's not like I'm getting frustrated and angry, I'm just disappointed at the lack of communication and customer service they show.
If you go to a restaurant and order something, they usually have a server come around and tell you that it'll be there in a few minutes.
All we've been getting is were cooking it its great.
I've had the game from day one and the changes they have made haven't been what anybody has been praying for.
The keep teasing with teamkilling solved, vehicle steering fixed, maps fixed, glitches fixed. All we've gotten are some weapon tweaks which I am grateful to scott rudi for but in all honesty tweaking weapons is pulling up a page of text and bumping some numbers up or down.- Report Abuse

Agreed. We've been waiting forever for almost nothing. Just let us know something. That said, Dram I'm sure it's due to the NDA they signed when they agreed to work for zip. :(

probably. zip should alter their policy a bit in that case though.
I've never met a customer who was bothered by more information. In my experience people would rather be informed than waiting for a surprise. The only people that enjoy surprises are the surprisers.
I've brought this up before and people talk about company competition and junk but it's nonsense. Edit; Games out, plus most dev companies share tech, or make their own which makes reverse engineering too difficult and costly to bother with. Also there are so many games made or being made that there aren't really any fresh ideas to steal.
If they told us something even if they said specifically that they don't know when it'll be done but this is what we are working on.
Every person that read that would heave a big sigh of relief.
It's discouraging being uninformed and makes people think mag is dead mare than anything else.- Report Abuse

Think I heard hopefully the patch would be out at the end of this month or probably suffering schizophrenia more likely.
Well if it takes 3 weeks just to program a new gun in, how do u think a patch would take to make including fully testing it so that it doesn't create instablility with players losing connection along with hard earned XP, just wait and play some sabo in the mean time incase your itchy finger needs to clear the rust out of the weapons chamber/barrel !

I know they reply but they reply with information we already have only. I'm really glad they come on the forums and talk with us but pretty much the bottom line of it is they never tell us anything until the day before their releasing something.

Info on our next patch will be coming next week (but not all of it -- it's so large that it will take multiple updates to tell you about it) and info on our bigger DLC will be after that (before E3).

E3 is about 3 weeks from now so this is good news. Please tell us that you're happy now dram.;) See patience is a virtue bro. Dunham you should really just post a thread with your post in it so people will just stop talking about when the DLC is coming and all this nonsense but thanks again.
