Try to hold onto MAG until the new year

Excited about MAG and want to tell everyone? This is your first stop to discuss the game!
Look at the numbers of players on MAG for the last week.
It would seem to me the writing is on the wall.
Socom Confrontation has more players still and that is a game that people have complained about incessantly since it's release. It really is sad too, MAG had so much potential only to get worse the longer it was out.

This is incorrect -- MAG has more concurrent players than SOCOM Confrontation worldwide on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This has been true for every month since MAG's release on January 26.
Obviously we don't hit the same numbers we had in our first few months in terms of concurrent and daily users, but we're still amongst the most played online PS3 games out there

This makes me happy. :)
*hugs*
I don't think its worse (except for freezing) While not perfect, I still like this new MAG better than the original. It IS a shame that they never either:
A. Did more to balance the tides of war (I didn't say maps, bc regardless as to what the reason, 1 PMC shouldn't dominate the contracts 3/4 of the time)
or
B. Made all Maps on all Modes Neutral.

We have some good balance in the game as a whole compared to when we launched -- particularly in the Suppression, Sabotage and Domination category -- as a whole.
Personally speaking (re: separating myself a company spokesperson for a second) there are still some maps that could definitely use fine-tuning -- Absheron comes to mind and most Acquisition maps for that matter
(Now returning to company spokesperson mode) but further updates on existing maps are all about time, money and demand at this point as we near the almost one-year anniversary of the game.

Respectfully I would disagree with this part. As someone who has played MAG since it's inception, this game was more balanced and a lot more fun before patch 1.06. I don't know how anyone could call this game balanced in it's present state.
As far as this part goes, I would reference my earlier statement about the writing on the wall.
Great to hear that MAG is staying strong!
Thanks Dunham!
As for Black Ops.....meh, I'm absolutely not interested. Call of Duty to me is like a bowl of ramen; they come in different flavors and there's a whole bunch of them, but in the end, ramen is still a bowl of noodles no matter what flavor pack you poor on it. And besides Call of duty is getting stale, there's no moderation with the releases anymore. It feels like every other month there's a new Call of Duty just like there's a new Halo every year.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go make some ramen...

I'd have to disagree with you (and agree with ZipDunSmash) Sabo is neutral maps, and changes have been made to balance the Acq and Dom maps. While they are still not balanced, they are less lop-sided than they used to be.
Hey Dunham sorry for all the crap I gave you guys I was angry at the wrong people I do love this game and as you can tell I have bought escalation since my return. My only beef is the movement speeds but if you see the need to fix it or not is cool with me I'm not gonna mope and groan about it.
