cars and cash will. Im a bit uncertain about licenses but its my understanding they do. im sure someone on here knows for sure about the licenses.
We know some things will transfer, but not all of the details are available now.
PSP cars and Prologue cars will, but we think they will only be available in Arcade more.
Money has not been defined yet and Licences I don't think have ever been mentioned.
On the other hand, you should always do new Licences anyway, to learn the new systems and to earn the prize cars.

why would the cars only be available in arcade mode? i havent heard anything about that.
I dont get it why people want to get his cars and money from Prologue To GT5 . Whats the point of GT5 then . Gran Turismos are all about buying some low performance car and then you will make some races and get better cars as we all know . I think this transfer thing will ruin Gran Turismo experience .

for YOU maybe. Thus, you don't have to do it
Why spoil other peoples fun because of an option YOU don't want?

Some of the licenses have always been able to be transferred from one GT version to the next, so I think that GT5 will be no different.
There has always been a limited amount of your money/credits that have been transferable (usually 100,000) in every version, I also see this as not changing with GT5
I believe it was announced at E3 that licenses, cars and money would be transferable from both GTPSP and GT5P but the cars would only be available in arcade mode.
Money and cars are fine, but transferring licenses would kinda make the career mode pointless.
My question is, do we know if the cars that transfer will be accessible for online races as well as arcade?

Whatever was allowed to be transfered, in the past, was basic and very limited.
For example, you still had to earn any prize cars that go with a Licence.
We don't know how GT5 is designed, so whether the cars are available on-line or not is not known yet, AFAIK.
This is an option, so a player is not forced to do this.
After beating the S class in GT5P i specifically remember it saying i now have the S license. That, to me, is the strongest thing suggesting licenses will transfer. Why would they give you the S license after beating the whole career mode unless it meant you now had the S license for the full version.
