Uncharted 4 LAG SWITCHER video (UPDATED WITH CHEATER PERSPECTIVE)

UPDATE:

Here is full match in cheater perspective (cinema) - if you had doubts...

Its ridiculous, he is using the thing all the time from the beginning till the end.

This video may help you recognize this kind of cheating better. Now you see how it looks in cinema replay.

One would think, if you use this kind of things, you try to do it as subtle and invisible as possible.

But this guy... selling the lag switch to him, is like selling machine gun to monkey - the monkey will shoot everyone around and himself as well.

I often see players using cronus max and other rapid fire controllers in ranked games. It became kind of "silently acceptable".

But these guys use FALs to cover the fact they use it.

If they use Metler and Enforcer, well, its too obvious. If they use FAL with rapid fire, they maximize its lethality without being too obvious.

Plus the rapid fire on Aegis, making the powerfull gun out of small plastic feeling toy.

I was watching one of the streamer recently, one of the top-top players, he was clearly using rapid fire with his Fal - Aegis loadout.

If you ever wondered how lag switcher works, here is the chance to see it.

This was ranked match played today 22.11

We lost badly obviously, as 2 teammates left when they realized what is going on.

I mostly do not care for this type of behaviour, but since it is so obvious, I reported this loser to ND official site.

Before you ask, this is not the cinema view, its the clip made from the actual game, saved with share button right after the match ended.

And my connection is perfect, the only lag came from this guy. I play this game from the beggining and I never saw anything this obvious.

And he is not from some exotic country - judging from the name he should actually live in the same country as I am.

I just wonder if anyone at ND still checking this reports...

If you see this guy coming days, let me know.

Heres the clip:

  • ND: So, what constitutes cheating or an otherwise actionable offense? Here are some of the things we look out for*:

    • Alteration of Game Code
    • Use of Modified Game Software
    • Use of Modified Game Hardware
    • Manipulation of In-Game Systems
    • Exploiting Environmental Geometry
    • Manipulation of Connectivity
    • Boosting and Other Forms of Unsporting Play

All users with cronus and other RF controllers shold be banned, but...

  • You are right axe_effect. I have noticed many players using rapid fire in ranked games. Also top players who actually do not need it at all.

The thing is, it is very small comunity now. Those players who can correctly recognize rapid fire when they see it, got used to it already.

It looks like it is silently tolerated now. Ranked games became "by all means necessary" type.  Rapid fire gives an advantage, but it is far from lag switching efficiency.

Another thing is, you may easily wrongly accuse someone of using rapid fire. Real rapid fire is always distinctively steady and rhytmic. Shooting Metler, Enforcer or Fal just fast does not mean that the player is rapid firing. What about small plastic button jump limiters that helps firing fast, this thing is undetectable in any way. I think ND know it, and hesitate to ban reported rapid fire players, until they get many reports from different players. Additionally some players opinions are of more value to ND, since this is small comunity and ND simply know their nicknames.

  • Just noticed that this guy is still playing ranked...

    This game truly IS abandoned.

This is also clear signal to all the cheaters - now you can do whatever you want, nobody cares.

Thanks for your report.  This user is already banned.

Good to see that there is someone still checking reports.

He would probably get to 1st place, but the system is terribly broken and he could simply get no more master points.

Season or 2 ago, friend of mine had 981 points, and few other players had 981 points, and no matter how hard he tried, he could not get any more master points.
