Network unavailable error

PLEASE HELP! I just rented a movie yesterday and still can't watch it now. I only have a few hours left. I really like PlayStation Video's and would appreciate it if this problem can be fixed. I would like to keep this account and not have to close it due to technical issues on their end.

  • I am having problems playing episode 3 of American horror story season 6. It keeps saying problems with the network connection but the connection is fine. I'm able to play the previous episodes with no problem. I would like this fixed soon or request a refund.

  • i just rented the shallows but i can't play it, it says "network unavailable", "please check your network connection". My connection is fine. Please help.

  • I purchased Warcraft, and when I try to play it, it says "network unavailable " I have reset the router and performed a reboot of my playstation. I have even went through my network settings and removed the connection completely and set it back up successfully. All other network applications work such as netflix and I can even watch the trailer for the movie located on the same screen. I either need a fix or a refund.

  • OK, gave it two days worth of a little while.  WHAT is going ON?   It gives me this message but if I hit 'ok', I can hear it, but not see it.  Can you fix this please?

  • I am using sony blu ray to access playstation video. I choose the movie, watch the trailer, purchase the rental but when I hit play I get audio of the movie only and a message on tv screen ' The network is not currently available. Try again later.

    I have spoken to sony who referred me to sony support chat who referred me to playstation support chat who said they can't help.

    The name of the movie is ' Free State of Jones'

    Hey Dan O'Mara you have cleared the license for some of the other posters. How about the rest uf us ? Will we ever be able to watch a movie from sony again? I'm not going to purchase another movie until someone says this is fixed.

  • I rented the movie now you see me 2. I paid my money and the movie started. Then the screen says the network is currently unavailable. However the sound for the movie is playing in the background but there is no picture. What's going on with that?

  • Rented a Movie on 1 October and have tried to watch it and every time is requested to watch it the network is not available. The Movie I am trying to watch is "The Free State of Jones"....actuallly have tried to watch some of the purchase movies and the same notice comes out.   • Purchased Captain America-Civil War on Friday 9/30. Still will not play; the above message is all I see. The movie will run out tomorrow. I have been with two online chat people and they sent me to the Sony TV website where I chatted with a guy who sent me back here. I am tired of getting the run around.

    Dear Sony,

    If you wish me to close my account (I have been a loyal Sony customer having a Play Station 3 and 4 and 2 Bravia TV's) please continue to treat me this way. I will be glad to haul all my Sony junk to the pawn shop or sell it on e-bay and get an X-Box. I would expect you to remedy this situation or extend my movie rental until you do. Thank you in advance for your consideration in this matter.
