All characters unlocked from start

I don't know about you guys but I don't like this, I think it's a stupid idea. What I would have LOOOVED is if only the original 6 were unlocked and you had to unlock the rest through various different ways... And if you really want all of them unlock then you could just enter a cheat to unlock them all from the start..... Anyone else agree?

  • I some what agreee but I see what their doing. In order to make online gameplay more acessible they let players have acess to their mains from day 1. I personally would have loved to unlock certain charecters but it's out of my hands. many petitions have come and gone.

  • why not just have a cheat to open them.

  • I prefer having everyone unlocked initially. It saves all of the BS time of trying to unlock characters who you know are there, and who you want to start learning how to play. BlazBlue Extend did it right. Have all characters unlocked initially, but then put a ton of extra stuff in the game to unlock.

  • They could have done what Brawl did.

Unlockable characters in Single Player and all Characters online are already unlocked ready to play.

  • Guys, it's already too late.  The decision was made and that's all there is to it.

  • I still doubt it I think they just said that to get people to **bleep** about character roster plus huge surprise when they unlock someone like Crash, and no thats just no me grasping for Crash I personally don't care if he's in it. But I doubt he's NOT in it. I just think they're being hush on a few surprises I'm sure people will forgive them for lying later they got their Christ Bandicoot after all. I say

2-6 super secret chars. In some way shape or form......Hold me to this.

  • I much prefer it this way, I have always found unlocks to be tedious and unenjoyable.

  • I do miss the thrill of unlocking characters through challenging means but with all the fighting games that have been coming out lately i've gotten used to it, yeah MK9, MVC3, and Street Fighter 4 did technically have unlockable characters but MVC3's may as well have been there from the start because there's only 4 unlockable characters and you can get them all with just one or two arcade mode playthroughs and in MK9 you just had to complete the story mode which I can understand why because the two unlockable characters are technically spoilers for the story but still I would've prefered they'd be unlockable through the challenge tower or something, and Street Fighter 4 was the only one with real unlockables it's a shame they skipped out on that with Super and Arcade Edition.

  • for PS All-Stars 2 any new characters should be locked.

  • I mean.... we already know ALL THE CHARACTERS, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise. But I would rather unlock the characters .

  • Who really cares?  I have all I need from the start and don't need to endlessly grind just to get a character. In SSB it wasn't even worth it in the end to get some obscure charcaters that I never really wanted in the first place. We have plenty of unlockables besides characters so who gives a **bleep**. That is all you guy have been doing searching for problems and making mountains out of mole hills. i have played games that only had a single character to be unlocked and I still enjoyed the game. I still had to master them. I never understand a gamers need to endlessly grind just to gte something that is usually not worth it in the end. Of  course any different idea is always a 'stupid' idea. Just like then whole supers only thing that everyone 'b***hed endlessly about that now we see works really well.

  • Meh. Unlockable characters is such a small thing compared to the gameplay, that is the most important thing of any videogame.
Also, why would you want to unlock charcters you already know that they are there?
For me ot was such a pain trying to unlock my fav characters in brawl. The only surprise was toon link lol

  • Unloclable characters are better as secret characters, or characters you know are there but don't know how their gameplay is. I always loved unlocking characters in fighting games since the older ones, the new did dissapoint me a bit but it isn't that much of a deal I guess.
