Since I've seen a lot of threads created about questions regarding "Infamous Paper Trail," I figured I would start a guide to assist everyone who may need help. At first I will only give a little hint to try and direct you on the right path, but if you need a few extra tips or just want all the answers now, click on the spoilers. Although, I advise you take the time to solve the puzzles and read the materials, for a much more satisfying experience and to follow the story. Enjoy!

What is "Infamous Paper Trail"?

inFAMOUS Paper Trail is a FREE bonus extension for the PlayStation®4 exclusive game: inFAMOUS Second Son™ that expands the universe and gameplay by weaving seamlessly on and beyond your PS4™ system. Players will pursue missions online and in game to unravel the mysteries behind the Department of Unified Protection, its director, Brooke Augustine, and the cover-up of a violent suicide through a time-released story. (Taken from FAQ on their website.)

Want more FAQs? Head to this thread: inFAMOUS Paper Trail FAQ

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

The first Paper Trail mission will not become available until you have reached a certain point in the main story. Be patient. Play and enjoy the game until it becomes available. With that said, keep in mind that the next mission(s) will not always pop up right away, until you have advanced even further into the main story. Especially the final Paper Trail mission(s), since they take place in the last areas of the main story.

You can either play them as they unlock, or (as I did), simply wait to start them until you have completed the main story entirely. If you ever experience any issues with the Paper Trail website e-mail: support@infamouspapertrail.com

Paper Trail mission icons will appear on your map as this:

PAPER TRAIL: PART 1

(Starts in Pioneer Square)

Mission 1: Find The Trail

In-game, complete the first Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #1 (Unfold the Truth)
  • Crime Scene Photos (Body #1)
  • A Detective's Wallet (Investigate the Clues)
  • Delsin's Phone (Trace the signal)

3. Inside the victims wallet, pay close attention to the contents. All the clues you need in order to track down the 12 digit device number are located in it. Hint: You may need to use a search engine to locate a certain website to continue... (google is your friend.)

Need help?

Go to the website for the Detective Agency name you see on Emilio's business card.
http://brunbergdetectiveagency.com/

Need more help?

1. At the bottom of the main page, select "Employees Log in Here". You have Emilio's log-in (his e-mail), but not his password. So, select "Forgot your Password?"
2. Answer the following questions by looking at the clues in his wallet. Some items found in the wallet are random. But, for example mine were:
  • Where did you go for your honeymoon? ("Hawaii," because of a "Aloha" picture with a note on back.)
  • What is your favorite restaurant? ("Meaty Martha's Fiesta Cauldron," because of a business card in the wallet.)
  • What is the name of your favorite Uncle? ("Morty," because of a photo with "RIP Uncle Morty" written on back.)
Once you enter your questions correctly (that have to do with the contents of your wallet), you will be granted access to Emilio's open files.

Still need help?

1. Click on the only open case available.
2. The 12 digit number you need will be located under the file named "Killian Czalov Mobile ID"
3. Enter this number in Delsin's phone.

Mission 2: Find the Suspect

In-game, complete the second Paper Trail mission.

1. Go to Paper Trail website.

2. You will have:

  • Crime Scene Photos (Body #2)
  • Killian's Phone (Get the Message)
  • Tracker Drone (Unlock the Secret)

3. Now you will have to do some code cracking. Click on the top of the drone image to be shown a keypad. You will need to discover the 6 digit code in a matter of 6 attempts. If you fail to do so, the code will reset and you will have to start all over.

Need help?

After entering a code, it will scan the numbers you entered. The "X" will mean that number is not in the code. If the number stays, it means it is in the code, but not in that spot. If it is Green, it means that number is in the code and in the correct spot.

Need more help?

There isn't much else to say, other than try starting out with 123456.See if any of those numbers are X'd, stay, or are green. Then do 7890. Write down which numbers are in the code and which ones stayed green. Use your remaining attempts at trying to find the correct order they go in. Good luck!

Are you a big fat cheater?

Some have said you can look at the source code of the page to reveal your code. If you are having trouble cracking it yourself, you can take this approach. It can be used for a majority of the code driven puzzles. You cheater, you.

Mission 3: Follow the Money

In-game, complete the third Paper Trail mission.

1. Go to Paper Trail website.

2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #2 (Unfold the Truth)
  • Crime Scene Photos (Body #3)

There is no riddle to solve here (that I know of) Just more story / possible clues for future puzzles.

End of Part 1, on to Part 2!

PAPER TRAIL: PART 2

(Starts in Lantern District)

Mission 1: Pick Up The Trail

In-game, complete the fourth Paper Trail mission.

1. Go to Paper Trail website.

2. You will have:

  • Crime Scene Photos (Body #1)
  • Origami Dove #3 (Unfold the Truth)
  • Heaven's Hellfire Poster (Search for Clues)
  • Fishbein's Phone : Security Fob (Unlock the Phone)
  • DUP Intranet (Access their files)

First off, you will want to pay close attention to the Origami Dove #3 and Heaven's Hellfire Poster. There is a very important clue in each for unlocking the Phone.

Need help?

1. Go to the website address located in the Dove: www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/intranet
2. Type in the 11 digit number located in the dove. This will unluck Origami Dove #4 and Security Protocal Document. Next, follow the dots in the Origami Dove.

Need more help?

Follow the numbered dots, 1 thru 15. Either print out the image and use a pen, or simply save it on your computer and open it up in a paint program. The bubbled numbers your lines cross over complete another F.A.N. to use on the website above.

Still need help?

1. The numbers are 36544572885
2. Input this F.A.N. on the website in order to discover the method to unlocking the phone.
ConnectTheDots.jpg

Too lazy?

1. The code on the Security Fob IS your code, but you need to add 3 to each digit. Example: 1 is 3, 2 is 5, and so on. If there is a 7, that is 10, but you only use the last digit. So, 8 would be 11, but you only use 1.
2. Be quick, the code changes every 30 seconds.
Once completed, this will unlock the next mission.

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • Origami Dove #4
  • Security Protocol Document

Mission 2: Case Dismissed

In-game, complete the fifth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Crime Scene Photos (Body #2)
  • Kriley's Datebook (Examine the Evidence)

3. Examine Kriley's Databook for clues. You will also need to use the D.O.P. intranet website again for this mission.  www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/intranet

Need help?

1. Go to her website located at the top of her Datebook: www.lindakrileylegal.com
2. This hacked webpage has a hidden F.A.N. number in it.

Need more help?

1. The red text has numbers in it. (The #2 in "Bully #2" does not count.) These 11 digits make up a F.A.N. number for the D.O.P. website.
2. Watch the video, the answers to the two questions on Linda's website will be answered there.

Still need help?

The first question: Who's the biggest Bully in the courtroom? Judge Paulson
The second question: What is the case file number that changed everything?
This has been confirmed to be random. Mine for example was : DF97DB41. The number can be found above the video. Once completed, this will unlock Linda's website and the video on your profile, as well as the next mission.

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • Linda Kriley Legal
  • The Case Against Conduits

Mission 3: Final Verdict

In-game, complete the sixth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website
2. You will have:

  • Crime Scene Photos (Body #3)
  • Paulson's Wallet (Study the Evidence)
  • Origami Dove #5 (Unfold the truth)

Nothing to solve here (that I know of). Just more story / possible hints for future puzzles.

End of Part 2, on to Part 3!

PAPER TRAIL: PART 3

(Starts in Georgetown)

Mission 1: Pick Up the Trail

In-game, complete the seventh Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Crime Scene Photos (Examine the Campaign Car)
  • Origami Dove #6 (Unfold the Truth)
  • Winegard Campaign Poster #1 (Look for Clues)
  • Delsin's Phone (Find the Feed)

Alright, this week is rich with web hunting, reading, and story. For Delsin's phone, you need to find a 12-digit code. But, the Origami Dove #6 has a number that only consits of an 11-digit code... now where have we been using 11-digit numbers?

Need help?

Enter the 11-digit number on the www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/intranet website. You will be using a lot of 11-digit numbers on here, on your way to tracking down the code for Delsin's phone.

Still need help?

Celia's Cell (Cell 404) is filled with clues. Browse her cell and make sure you write down / screen cap anything of importance. Hint: The Walls and her Origami Doves are the most important.

Need more help?

Follow the path of the numbers on her Origami Doves along with the Number Webs on her cell walls.

Origami 2.PNG

If you're in a hurry
Number Web 1 = 3-87-71-26-93-41
Number Web 2 = 0-44-65-86-105-5

I doubt these are random. If they are, it's not hard to figure out the codes. If you can not do it by the naked eye, print out the Origami decoders, cut holes in the circles, and lay them over the Number Webs. The numbers highlighted 1 thru 6 will be your code.

Still need more help?

1. Enter Number Web #1 on the DUP intranet site. It will lead you to two more 11-digit numbers.
2. One of these will be a file on Henry. There will be another 11-digit code on the last page of his file. Use this on the DUP intranet site.
3. There will be an image at the bottom of this report, taken from a DUP Surveillance camera.
Notice how many digits are in the "ID#:"? Enter this code in Delsin's Phone.

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • Cell 404
  • Origami Dove #7
  • Origami Dove #8
  • Curden Cay Incident Report
  • Conduit Dossier
  • Winegard Assult Inquiry
  • Origami Dove Pattern

Bonus: Print out and fold the Origami Dove you receive from entering Number Web 2. Enter the code on the DUP intranet website. If you do, you will unlock a voice message from Celia herself.

Too lazy?

You could print out the Dove, cut out all the half number pieces, and put it together like a puzzle.
Like This:
DoveFoldCode.jpg
93-58-824-74-59
I doubt the printable Dove's code is random. But, in the case that is is, it should not take you long to fold / match up the numbers.

Mission 2: Electronic Witness

In-game, complete the eighth Paper Trail mission.

1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • DUP Camera Drive (Defrag the camera’s drive)

Nothing really to help you here. You just need to play a mini game and solve 7 puzzles to complete the defrag of the camera's drive.

Need help?

1. Once you solve the defrag puzzles, you will unlock a video and a Software Patch. Watch the video to get the License Plate # from the car.
2. Now, view the software patch notes and go to the URL listed at the bottom.
www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/vehicletracker

Once completed, the following will added to your profile:

  • Imaging Software Patch Notes
  • Incendiary Footage
  • Vehicle Tracking

Mission 3: Decisive Meeting

In-game, complete the nineth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Winegard Campaign Poster #2 (Search for Clues)
  • Origami Dove #9

There is no real riddle to solve here (yet.) Just more story / possible clues for future puzzles.
But, to find out what Winegard is up to, make sure you look at the Campaign poster carefully.

Need help?

The rest of Winegard's website has been crossed out. Go to the URL address www.winegardlies.com instead.

End of Part 3, on to Part 4!

PAPER TRAIL: PART 4

(Starts in Market District)

Mission 1: Pick Up the Trail

In-game, complete the tenth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #10 (Unfold the Truth)

Included in the dove, you will find an 11-digit F.A.N. -- Remember where these go?

Need help?

Go to www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/intranet and type in the 11-digit code found in Celia's dove (99902081433). This will lead you to two more clues.

Need more help?

1. Inside this DUP Lifeline Memo, there will be another 11-digit F.A.N. code (62751111459, for me, not sure if this is random) -- as well as a website: www.LifeLinePurity.com. If you visit the website first, You will notice that in order to access the forums, you need a Passcode.
2. Put this new 11-digit F.A.N. code in the DUP intranet website.

Still need help?

1. Complete the "Shredded Evidence" puzzle. The Passcode for the forums will be found on it. This is more than likely random, so you will need to complete it in order to find your passcode, but here is an example of what the puzzle should look like.
ShredPuzzle.PNG

Still need more help?

1. Go to the LifeLine Purity website, click on "Join Our Forums," then the thread "Funny Flick."
2. Enter the passcode and watch the video in the first post, then click on Vince's last message at the bottom of this thread, to reveal a photo.

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • DUP Lifeline Memo
  • Lifeline Purity Website
  • Shred of Evidence (Puzzle you completed)
  • No Mercy (Video)

Mission 2: The Purification

In-game, complete the eleventh Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Bagged and Tagged (Decode the Toe Tags)
  • Delsin's Phone (Find the rendezvous)

Alright, for Delsin's phone you need to find a 12-digit code. Now, examine the toe tags closely.

Need help?

Under the "For internal use only" part of each toe tag, you will see 11 Squares with Red dots.
Match-up all these red dots, together, from all 8 toe tags, and you will be given your code. You can try and do this on a piece of paper, in a paint program, or even print up the toe tags and play it like a game of bingo.

Need more help?

I do not know if this is random, but the code I got was 02240835619.
ToeTag1.jpg
Type this 11-digit code into the DUP Intranet website.

Still need help?

The Origiami Dove you receive by entering the toe tag code will have 2 more 11-digit F.A.N. numbers above it, in the red text. The first will return you back to Celia's file, as seen in a previous mission, the second will take you to an "Incident Report." (4-828-1723-3-99).

Still need more help?

1. Inside the Incident Report, there will be another 11-digit F.A.N. (700-3171-8405). Go there.
2. In this 3 page document, there will be a couple more 11-digit F.A.N. numbers for you to search, if you want to dive deeper into the story. But, on the last page, you will see a 11-digit F.A.N. that will take you to Bennet's broken phone. (1025-5-211-988).

Need even more help?

Solve the broken phone puzzle, and at the top you will see 12-digit ID#. I do not know if this is random, but mine was: 351197694849. Enter this in Delsin's phone.
BennetsPhone.PNG

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • Origami Dove #11
  • Curdun Morgue Incident
  • Chief Scientist Dossier
  • DUP Ground Troop Dossier
  • Tyler Bennet's Phone

Mission 3: Confront Tyler Bennet

In-game, complete the twelfth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #12 (Unfold the Truth)
  • Bennet's DUP Drive (Examine the Threat List)

There is no real riddle to solve here (yet.) Just more story / possible clues for future puzzles. Simply check out the 3 things on Bennet's DUP Drive and that's it.

End of Part 4, on to Part 5!

PAPER TRAIL: PART 5
(Starts in Downtown)

Mission 1: Pick Up the Trail

In-game, complete the thirteenth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #13 (Unfold the Truth)
  • Vehicle Tracker (Track the Vehicle)

You need a number to track a vehicle. The path to finding this is through the Origami Dove. Open up Origami Dove #13. It has a puzzle in order to find an 11-digit F.A.N.

Need help?

You will notice there are more than 1 of the symbols in the puzzle, that are supposed to represent the digit you are looking for, to form the 11-digit FAN. So whip out your paint program or print out the image and begin connecting each symbol, starting in numerical order. You will notice the lines YOU make will create numbers. Starting with the first symbol (A Circle), make lines connecting it to the next circle with a 2 next to it, then 3, and so on.
Not sure if these are random, but here is an example:
FANDigit1.png
Do this with the rest of the symbols to form the 11 digit FAN.

Enter this on the DUP Intranet website www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/intranet

Need more help?

The Counter-Intelligence Report has 2 more 11-digit F.A.N codes in it.
The first (mine was 6184-168-33-77) will lead you to a audio file.
The second (mine was 298-3457-93-45) will lead you to a surveillance report. The image in this report will have code under "PLATE NUMBER LOCK." Enter this in the Vehicle Tracker.
(Not sure if this is random, but mine was: E8E6F6CE)
CodeForVehicleTracker.PNG

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • Intercepted Military Intel
  • Motimer's Voicemail
  • Van Surveillance Report

Mission 2: Vanned

In-game, complete the fourteenth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Gudino’s Landscaping Van (Search the recon vehicle)

Like Cell 404 back in Part 3, Mission 1, you will use the arrows you move through the van to look for clues / click on items.

Need help?

You will find a Safe and a Computer. You need the Username and Password to log into the computer, but the Safe is hackable. Much like the Tracker Drone in Part 1, Mission 2, you will need to just type in guesses. The green symbols signify a correct digit in the password (in the correct spot), the yellow signify it is in the code, but not in the correct spot, and an X signifies that digit is not used. You have 7 attempts to get this correct. Write these down on a piece of paper or type them in a document on your computer, in order to keep track of your guesses.

Need more help?

The safe will contain a file. At the bottom of the file you will find the Username and Password in order to get on the computer. I don't know if this is random, but mine were:
Username: RASLND
Password: 68442092

But, don''t be so quick to close this file just yet, it holds very important info regarding how to maneuver around in the computer.

Still need help?

Not much else I can help you with, considering it is pretty much just a random maze of file searching. But, once you find (and open) the file "SurveillanceLocations.jpg." you're done.

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile.

  • Origami Dove #14
  • Spy Documents
  • Recon Operations Map

Mission 3: Delsin vs. Gudino’s Landscaping

In-game, complete the fifteenth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #15
  • General Slain (Audio file)
  • State of Alarm (News Paper clipping)

Like usual, there are no puzzles or riddles to solve here, but just some more story to cap off the chapter.

End of Part 5, on to Part 6!

PAPER TRAIL: PART 6 - THE FINALE
(Starts in Waterfront)

Mission 1: Pick Up the Trail

In-game, complete the sixteenth Paper Trail mission.

1. Go to Paper Trail website.

2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #16 (Unfold the Truth)

Inside the Origami Dove, you will find a puzzle maze. Read Celia's message carefully. "There are TWO truths hidden inside this maze."

Need Help?

As you start the maze, you will notice you go through certain numbers, while other numbers sit on the side, or veer you off to a dead end. Write down the numbers you pass through.

Need more help?

There are exactly  22 numbers. You are looking for 2 different F.A.N. codes (which are 11-digits each. I did it like this:
EXAMPLE:
(#) = a number off course /  tucked in a corner.

1 (2) 3 4 (5) 6 7 8 (9) (1) 0 1 (1) 1 (2) 1 (3) 1 (4) (1) (5) (6)

Still need help?

Origami16MazePuzzle.jpg

Note: Pay no attention to my chicken scratch / the different colors, While I was writing down the numbers I passed and the numbers off course / in a corner, I was also thinking that each half of the maze was it's own F.A.N. code -- which was the incorrect method.

The numbers I crossed through were: 98279935328
The numbers off course were: 74631428457
9 (7) (4) 8 (6) 2 (3) 7 (1) 9 (4) 9 (2) 3 (8) 5 3 (4) 2 (5) (7) 8

I don't know if these are random, but once you have your two 11-digit FAN codes, enter them in the DUP intranet website.
www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/intranet

Once completed, the following will be added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • Dove Cipher
  • Graffiti Memo

Mission 2: Dove Tag Tour

In-game, complete the seventeenth Paper Trail mission.

1. Go to Paper Trail Website.
2. You will have:

  • Dove Tag Photos (Gallery of Celia's graffiti)
  • Delsin's Phone (Track the new number)

Okay, for Delsin's phone you need a 12-digit code. In order to find that code, you will need to use the Dove Cipher you got in the last mission, along with the Tag Photos.

Need Help?

There isn't much I can help you with here. The trick to finding the code is right in the Dove Cipher. Look at the pictures of the Dove Tags. Each picture will have a portion that is dark. Write down the numbers that follow, according to the Dove Cipher. If there is only a single digit in the section that is highlighted, then that is the only number you write down. Others will be a 3 to 4 digit sequence (like the example shown on the Dove Cipher.) I believe this could be random (I tried to save the Dove Cipher and the numbers did not show up in the image), but my code from the 5 Dove Tags was:
4-2-072-592-0052

When you have your 12-digit code, put it in the phone to progress.

Mission 3: Track the Cell Signal

In-game, complete the eighteenth Paper Trail mission.
1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • The Lair (Find answers in Celia’s hideout)

Like Cell 404 and Surveillence Van, you will need to search around a virtual apartment for clues.

Need help?

You will notice the computer in the corner has three questions to must answer. I don't know if this is random, but mine were:

  • What is my DUP Agent Number?
  • Who Was I?
  • What Have I Become?

For the first question, you will need to find Celia's DUP Agent number.
This can be found by discovering five 11-digit F.A..N. codes throughout the room.

Need more help?

After picking up / reading everything in the room, make sure to write down the F.A.N. code written on the wall on the right (from starting position.)
WritenOnWall.PNG
The document you receive from using this on the DUP Intranet website will give you a number for Celia's DUP Agent number. ## - # - ## - 25 - ##
In order to find more, use the Web Numbers on each side of the room, along with the ciphers found in the 4 origami doves found in the room.

I do not know if the web numbers are random, but once you find the four 11-digit FAN codes, enter them into the DUP intranet website (www.departmentofunifiedprotection.com/intranet) to discover the last remaining digits for Celia's DUP Agent number.
Mine were:
F.A.N. 1: 64675342331 (Origami 2) ## - # - ## - ## - 50
F.A.N. 2: 13898114116 (Origami 3) ## - 0 - ## - ## - ##
F.A.N. 3: 21634934183 (Origami 1) 46 - # - ## - ## - ##
F.A.N. 4: 45831175379 (Origami 4) ## - # - 89 - ## - ##
Which gave me 46 - 0 - 89 - 25 - 50, for Celia's DUP Agent Number. (Once again, this may be random. If so, it should not take you long to crack the F.A.N. codes found on the Web Numbers.)

Now that leaves the last remaining questions.
Who was I? and "Who have I become? You should knows these by now, if not, go back and look at the "Manga" comics you have collected from the Origami Doves. They are conveniently displayed in the panel to the right of your Paper Trail profile.

Still need more help?

The answer to "Who was I?" can be found on Page 4 of the Manga comic. (Starting from top left and hitting the page arrow at the bottom.)

The answer to "Who have I become?" can be found on Page 11 of the Manga comic. (Starting from top left and hitting the page arrow at the bottom.)

Too lazy?

Who was I? = Hitori
Who have I become? = Saisei

Once you have entered the correct answers to all three questions, it will take you to a chat between Celia and Augustine. (using the names from the Manga comic.) Click on the underlined text at the bottom to progress.

Once completed, the following added to your Paper Trail profile:

  • Celia's Address
  • Origami Dove #17
  • Origami Dove #18

Mission 4: Face Celia

In-game, complete the nineteenth Paper Trail mission.
Afterwards, you will receive 4 new jackets.

WhiteRabbit.PNGOrigamiJacket.PNGJacket2.PNGDUPed.PNG

1. Go to Paper Trail website.
2. You will have:

  • Origami Dove #21

Inside the Origami Dove will be a final letter from Celia, as well as the last page of the Manga comic.

Is this setting up a more prominant role for Celia in a future "Infamous" title.....?

THE END... for now.

Anyone else finish Paper Trail on both Good and Evil playthroughs?

Here are a few of my thoughts on the slight differences (and not so different) scenarios.

The end cinema remains the same. Celia still sees Delsin as this bad, vicious, "free," leader of conduits, no matter if you're good or evil. This leads me to believe that the "Evil" Delsin could actually be the canonical ending to the main story. (Which I personally loved, since it felt more fitting than the "Good" ending, unlike the previous Infamous installments.

Delsin's lasts words about Celia change depending on your karma.
If Good: He says - "Celia, I hate to think I had a hand in making you what you are. But, if I ever find you, I will correct that mistake."

If Evil: He says - "Birds of a feather, Celia... See you around."

  • Very nice. It seems like i'm waiting on the third mission to be made available.

Anywho, concerning the wallet, I thought that

It was insanely dumb how you're supposed to figure out that there's a website, even thought nothing besides an email for the PI is ever mentioned. Everything from there on out was fine, it's just that first hurdle that I found to be unreasonably obscure.

  • You might want to add in that there are more 'Forgot Password' questions than just the 3 you got. I had 'What is the name of your eldest daughter?' And 'What was the best Halloween costume you ever wore?'
The photo in the wallet was of his 2 kids and there was a photo of a man in a Polar Bear outfit.

  • And Johngie, I struggled on the exact same thing! I never expected it to be a real website! But it was dead satisfying when I tried it!

    Thank you johngie.

Yeah, I agree. I was using google to try and find anything to help me along. When nothing IN the wallet was the 10 digit number I needed, I started just typing in people's / places names from the wallet until I got lucky. haha.  I have participated in exactly 2 ARGs before (NIN's Year Zero and Xi), which usually have you running around on different websites. So when I figured this was kind of like that, I was like "Oh, duh."

I stated they are random and just gave my three as an example. Maybe I will try to find / post a list of all the possible questions in the future, but I don't think it's necessary.

  • Questions I had were:

What is your dog's name? A.) Puddles

Where do you park your car? A.) Gruderman's Parking

  • Updated OP to finish out Part 1.

If someone could answer this, I'd much appreciate it:

Is Part 2 not available yet, period? Or have I just not reached a part in the game yet where it becomes available?

  • What part of the game are you on or what's your karma level at? It probably becomes available like the Cole's Legacy missions.

I am not far at all. I am at Good Paragon Karma and the next story mission I have to do is the one that I assume will open the next island (It says we have to cross the bridge.) I spent most of my time doing the Cole Legacy as soon as they would become available and clearing out all the D.U.P. from the first island.

I did the first three missions of Part 1 of Paper Trailer, but on the website it says "Part 2: Coming Soon."

So, I don't know if that's because I have not reached a certain part in the main game or if it just isn't available to everyone yet. If it is the former, I'll need to get a crackin' on the main story so I can get caught up to date on Paper Trail, so I can begin updating this weekly as missions are added.

  • Well, the part 2 in-game stuff was unlocked for me, but none of it is available on the website. I collected like 5 pieces of evidence, but I'm stuck with the lone "Part 2 Coming Soon" box.

  • The number 6 won't work on the phone on the web page. Any one else having this problem? It's driving me mad?

  • Great Guide. Very detailed and straightforward. I especially like the spoiler tags.

Regarding the progress of this, I have finished the entire game on Good, and the first section of the Paper Trail (Part I). Part II is available, at least in North America (I'm near Los Angeles, CA). I just started on the first bit of it myself. Then again, the website www.inFamousPaperTrail.com has not opened itself to the Part II content, deterring our progress through it.

Oh, and : Really? The PI's business card wasn't a dead giveaway with the email? I found the DUP website and two FANs with the gametrailers review video. You gotta look harder.

: Dude, wasn't NIN's Year Zero viral marketing rather insane (in the best way)? I mean, USB sticks in bathroom's at shows kicked it off. And if you need help writing this guide, although you're rocking it so far, I'd be happy to help.

Use a PC. I had the same problem until I decided to use my laptop. It worked.

  • Anyone having any luck with unlocking the cell phone for part 2?

  • I'm stumped. I found the file in the DUP intranet that the origami note mentions. You can also find information on the subject who died by typing in the number in the first file

I have no clue what to do next :(

  • Ive tried connecting the dots all the numbers I went through were 36544572885. I'm lost after that

  • I've tried so many different patterns, I'm going to be so mad at myself if it's obious lol

  • it is obvious. i'm at the part where i picked up  a notebook from linda. i'm in her website but can't figure out the answer to her question in the website to move forward

  • Input 36544572885 to DUP site

  • It says the numbers will cross your path implying that the lines will cross the numbers but once you connect the dots there are 6 numbers inside the dove outline. 1,2,1,6,3,5

The code for the phone is exactly 6 numbers so I'm guessing those numbers inside the outline have to be the right ones.

  • it is? **bleep** I'm going to feel stupid when it dawns on me, I only have that stupid poster and I don't get it
    0
  • am i the only one stuck at Linda's site with no answers to the questions?

  • Nevermind. A previous poster got it right.
